How to

Starting Position

1. Make sure to keep your elbows close to your sides throughout the entire movement. 2. Avoid locking your elbows at the top of the movement. 3. Do not swing the weights. 4. Do not hold your breath.


1. Keeping your elbows close to your sides, straighten your arms and press the dumbbells up toward the ceiling. 2. Once your arms are fully extended, hold for one second. 3. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.

Breathing Technique

1. As you press the dumbbells up, exhale. 2. As you lower the dumbbells, inhale.


1. Sit or stand with your feet slightly wider than hip-width apart. 2. Bend your elbows and hold a pair of dumbbells in both hands with your palms facing forward and your arms close to your sides.
