How to

Starting Position

1. Stand facing away from a cable machine, with the cable at shoulder height. 2. Reach up to grab the cable handle with both hands, maintaining a slight bend in the elbows. 3. Lean forward, so your torso is at a 45-degree angle from the floor. 4. Keep your core engaged and your back flat throughout the exercise.


1. With your arms extended, raise the cable out to the side until your arms are parallel with the floor. 2. Pause for a moment, then slowly lower the cable back to the starting position. 3. Repeat for desired number of reps.

Breathing Technique

1. Inhale as you lower the cable back to the starting position. 2. Exhale as you raise the cable out to the side.


1. Avoid swinging your arms or using momentum to lift the cable. 2. Make sure your back remains flat throughout the exercise. 3. Stop the exercise if you experience any pain or discomfort.
