Band SquatBarbell squat assist
It's a good workout to get used to weight workouts with a band before moving on to weight squats!
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, toes slightly pointing outwards. 2. Place a band just above your knees. 3. Keep your chest up, back straight and core engaged.
1. Bend your knees and hips to lower your body into a squat position. 2. Keep your back straight and chest up. 3. Make sure to push your knees outwards against the band as you squat. 4. Push through the heels of your feet to stand back up.
1. Inhale as you lower your body into the squat position. 2. Exhale as you stand back up.
1. Make sure to keep your back straight and chest up throughout the movement. 2. Do not let your knees move inwards. 3. Do not let your knees go past your toes. 4. Do not let your heels come off the ground.
