How to
Starting Position
1. Hold a kettlebell by the horns in both hands close to your chest. 2. Stand tall with your feet shoulder-width apart. 3. Keep your core tight and your spine in a neutral position.
Form
1. Slowly lower the kettlebell down by bending your knees and pushing your hips back, as if you were sitting in a chair. 2. Keep your chest up, your back straight, and your core engaged. 3. Lower yourself until your thighs are parallel with the ground and your elbows are between your knees. 4. Drive through your heels to return to the starting position.
Breathing Technique
1. Inhale as you lower into the squat. 2. Exhale as you return to the starting position.
Precautions
1. Make sure to keep your back straight and your core engaged throughout the entire movement. 2. Don_ allow your knees to move forward past your toes. 3. Make sure you are pushing your hips back and not rounding your back. 4. Stop the movement if you experience any pain.
