How to
Starting Position
1. Sit on the floor with your feet flat and your knees bent. 2. Hold a dumbbell in both hands with your arms straight out in front of your chest.
Form
1. Engage your core and rotate your torso to the left, bringing the dumbbell down and across your body. 2. Return to the center and rotate to the right. 3. Continue alternating sides for the desired amount of repetitions.
Breathing Technique
1. Inhale as you rotate to the left and exhale as you rotate to the right.
Precautions
1. Keep your back straight and your core engaged throughout the exercise. 2. Make sure the movement is coming from your shoulders and not your arms. 3. Do not lock your elbows, keep them slightly bent. 4. Make sure the dumbbell does not hit your body as you move.
