How to
Starting Position
1. Avoid locking your elbows when you bring your arms together. 2. Do not overarch your back. 3. If you experience any pain or discomfort, stop the exercise and speak to your doctor or physical therapist.
Form
1. Bring your arms together in front of your chest and clap your elbows together. 2. Return to the starting position. 3. Repeat for desired number of repetitions.
Breathing Technique
1. Inhale as you bring your arms together and clap your elbows. 2. Exhale as you return to the starting position.
Precautions
1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms extended out to your sides. 2. Make sure your back is straight and your core is engaged.
