How to

Starting Position

1. Avoid arching the back too much. 2. Keep the feet together throughout the exercise. 3. Do not overextend the spine. 4. Keep the arms relaxed and avoid locking the elbows.


1. Reach the right arm up and over towards the left foot, extending the spine and torso. 2. At the same time, reach the left arm up and over towards the right foot. 3. Reach both arms as far as you can and pause for a moment. 4. Return to the starting position and repeat on the opposite side.

Breathing Technique

1. Breathe in as you reach up and out. 2. Breathe out as you reach down towards the feet.


1. Stand with feet together, arms by your sides, and a slight bend in the knees. 2. Lift arms up and out to the sides, with palms facing down and fingers spread wide. 3. Keep the spine neutral and engage the core muscles.
